ABOUT RIDGE CREST ELEMENTARY
Dear Ridge Crest Families,
I love being the principal at Ridge Crest Elementary! I feel very blessed to live and
work in this wonderful community. The students make our school a great place to
be every day. Through caring relationships and quality instruction, we have been
able to create a wonderful school atmosphere. Our staff is committed to doing
everything we can to maintain Ridge Crest Elementary’s long-standing reputation
of being an outstanding school.

At Ridge Crest Elementary our mission is to form a partnership with students,
parents, staff, and community to create an atmosphere where students will gain
confidence, knowledge, and wisdom; develop physically and socially; and value
learning for life, in a safe environment.
S.O.A.R.
We are the home of the Soaring Eagles. We work hard to help students learn how to
be successful in school and life by following the traits in our acronym S.O.A.R. (Safe,
Orderly, Accountable, Respectful). As students learn how to be safe, orderly,
accountable, and respectful they develop lifelong skills that help them be successful
socially, physically, and academically.
School Theme 2023-2024
This year’s theme is all about working together. We will use the acronym T.E.A.M.
(Together Everyone Achieves More) to help students and staff focus on the
importance of working together.
Collaboration
At Ridge Crest, we want to create the most positive and successful school experience
possible, but this can only be accomplished through collaboration with staff,
students, parents, and the community. As part of that collaboration, Ridge Crest has
a great PTA (Parent Teacher Association) that continues to make a huge difference
in our school’s success. If you have time I would encourage you to get involved with
the PTA.
With your help, we can make Ridge Crest an even better place for our
students. I believe that we can truly make it the best school in Idaho. If you have

Our History
The Ridge Crest Elementary School mission is to form a partnership with students, parents, staff, and the community to create an atmosphere where students will gain confidence, knowledge, and wisdom; develop physically and socially; and value learning for life under a safe environment.
The Ridge Crest Elementary School opened its doors for its first full school year in 1997 to meet the needs of a growing community.
